MACHINE GUN.Cal. 30-06. S# 105709. Bbl. 24" with flash hider, Winchester markings & dated 10-18. Hooded blade front sight. Ladder aperture rear sight graduated to 1600yds. & "W" marked. Very fine example of a WW1 config. M1918 Browning Automatic Rifle made by Winchester. NFA registry lists mfr. as Winchester. Blued finish. Walnut stock set & checkered forend with bottom mounted sling swivels & M1907 style sling. Left side of stock has what appears to be a relieved area, possibly to prevent cracks. MAGS: 1-20 rd. blued & unmarked. CONDITION: refinished stock set has added glossy finish with some handling marks. Metal retains 80% original blue with some light scratches on left side of receiver, a few spots of oxidation, scattered edge wear, fading & handling marks. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good plus bright bore with strong rifling. PROVENANCE: Military Museum Collection of Shooters Outpost, Hooksett NH. NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT MG REQUIRING BATF TRANSFER BEFORE TAKING POSSESSION.
